CHARLOTTE, NC, March 29 /Christian Newswire/ -- Founder and Executive Director, Sabra Robinson today announced open registration for the 2008 Work and Life! Christian Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina, October 17-19th.
The Work and Life! Christian Conference is a non profit/non denominational Christian conference and ministry whose mission is to utilize Christian marketplace leaders and resources to bring workplace believers and non believers closer to Jesus Christ.
Work and Life! Christian Conference (WLCC) was created to speak to Christians in the marketplace, such as librarians, teachers, social workers, construction workers, stay-at-home moms and more! The heart of this conference is generally directed towards women in the workforce who are dealing with their calling into ministry along with the confusion and indecision experienced due to God's appointment.
The conference takes place at the beautiful Hilton Charlotte University Place Hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina and kicks off with a plenary of marketplace speakers such as Leslie Nease, 91.9FM Christian radio host and 2007 "Survivor China" contestant and Os and Angie Hillman, 9-5 Window Workshop presenters and internationally recognized speakers on the subject of faith at work. Closing out the conference will be Evangelist Nichelle Early, founder of PreachingWoman.com, to deliver God's powerful Word on Sunday, October 19th.
The conference vision is to present a Christian venue for the marketplace that will minister, allow fellowship, and provide inspirational seminars to the non believer and believer.
"This conference features marketplace leaders and works who will provide their workplace expertise and testimonies to focus on the conference theme: Women of Completion: Finishing the Race in the Marketplace, geared especially to marketplace women," said Sabra Robinson. "I'm also excited to announce the special one-day seminar with Os and Angie Hillman that can be attended by both men and women!"
She encourages interested marketplace believers and non believers to register for the conference soon. Attendees can take advantage of the Early Bird rates if they sign up before July 31st. To register or find more program information, visit the official Web site at www.workandlifecc.org/registration.html; attendees will save $41 if they register NOW before Early Bird registration ends.
