BUFFALO, N.Y., July 25, 2024 /Christian Newswire/ -- On Thursday, July 11, 2024, the ministry of Eagles' Wings brought together several hundred leaders, partners, and friends from 30 years of ministry impact, to celebrate the global reach of the organization over the last three decades.
To mark this milestone, Bishop Robert Stearns and the entire organization hosted a gala dinner at the Admiral Room in downtown Buffalo, NY. This meaningful and memorable evening highlighted the many years of fruitfulness of the ministry, as well as looking ahead to future advances in the work of supporting Israel and uniting the body of Christ in this powerful era of history.

As part of the evening's program, a special compilation of video greetings was released, giving dozens of personal testimonies from many different nations, showing those whose lives have been forever changed by Eagles' Wings ministry initiatives through the years.
Bishop Robert Stearns, reflecting on the 30-year history, said, "I do not believe that [we] have walked together all these years for Eagles' Wings to just be a one-generation ministry. In fact, I believe that everything that has happened in the past 30 years has simply led us to this moment where we're finally getting started right now!"
Bishop Joseph Garlington, founder of Covenant Church of Pittsburgh, gave his personal affirmation of the impact of Eagles' Wings around the world, saying, "A wise man once said opportunities of a lifetime must be seized in the lifetime of the opportunity. Thirty years ago something took place [through Eagles' Wings] that has transformed much of the body of Christ in its perspective on worship, prophetic ministries, intercession, and particularly Israel."
As part of the event, Governor Kathy Hochul of New York sent a written letter of congratulations: "Since its founding, Eagles' Wings has created dialogues between religious communities across the world while providing individuals with opportunities to both deepen their spiritual knowledge and engage in meaningful outreach... Congratulations on this milestone occasion and best wishes for an enjoyable celebration."
Mike Huckabee, former governor of Arkansas, added a personal message: Congratulations on the 30th Anniversary of Eagles' Wings! As you continue to give voice to those targeted by the demonic forces of irrational antisemitism and stand boldly for Biblical principles, I join with thousands of others to express appreciation for all you have allowed God to use you to do."
Television host Kathie Lee Gifford shared via video: "We want to wish you all God's best with the great work you have been doing with Eagles' Wings, all these 30 years! I wish you Godspeed, God's blessings, and may His face continue to shine upon you."
Representing the Jewish community, Rabbi Pini Dunner of the Beverly Hills Synagogue and other Jewish guests thanked Bishop Stearns and Eagles' Wings for their continual commitment to stand with Israel and the Jewish people through the vital work of the organization, including the widespread efforts of solidarity and support for Israel following the horrific October 7th massacre in 2023.
Rabbi Dunner shared a letter of thanks and congratulations from members of the Israeli government: "On behalf of the state of Israel I am honored to extend my heartfelt congratulations to you on the momentous occasion of celebrating 30 years of dedicated ministry. This milestone is a testament to your unwavering commitment, visionary leadership, and profound love for Israel... Through your relentless pursuit of greater cooperation and understanding, you have significantly strengthened the bonds between our communities."
In a video greeting, Gilad Erdan, former Ambassador of Israel to the U.S., stated, "The work that you have done to educate Christians around the world on the importance of Israel and our shared values actively contributes to the safety of the Jewish people and the State of Israel... Thank you for continuing to spread light in the darkness."
At various points throughout the event, many of those who attended were visibly touched as they shared and heard memories of what this global movement has been able to accomplish for the sake of Israel and the Jewish people, and for empowering Christian believers to walk in the fullness of their calling.
Though there are many hardships and difficulties for both Israel and the Church in the present hour, this evening of celebration gave a strong indication of the hope that exists when believers in the God of Israel band together to make a multiplied impact in the world.
Both the history and the future of Eagles' Wings speak of the faithfulness of God and the opportunities for good that lie before us, as together we seek lasting strategies that will bring enduring fruit from generation to generation.
