Christian Newswire/ -- Christian public relations expert, Hunter Frederick took to Instagram Sunday afternoon to express his frustration with "the white church" using the popular dance move, "the dab" in their worship sets and everyday lives.
According to Frederick and other widely available sources, the original meaning behind the popular dance move was taken when one uses a consternated form of marijuana that causes the user to tear up and thus covering their eyes with their arm like the popular dance move.
"I can not tell you how many times I've been to youth events and church camps where the worship leaders incorporate the dab in their worship sets with no idea what the real meaning behind the dance move is ... It's just another example of the church refusing to educate themselves on pop culture and the world around them," said Frederick.
