Scianna's professional career has taken him from the corner offices of Fortune 500 companies to the halls of Congress to the front lines of efforts to restore America's heritage. Among his many accomplishments, Scianna founded and served as executive director of the first Missouri-based Family Policy Council associated with Focus on the Family and the Family Research Council.
A Cum Laude Honors College graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, Scianna holds Bachelor of Science degrees in journalism and political science. He has held senior-level leadership positions, including vice president of the college testing company, ACT Inc.; manager of internal corporate communications for Sprint; and senior vice president of Corporate & Public Affairs for the international public relations firm, Fleishman Hillard.
Scianna has received numerous awards and recognition, including the Gold Quill Award of Excellence from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) for his work in strategic corporate communications, and the Innovator Award from the Southern Growth Policies Board for his role in improving economic conditions for businesses and quality of life for individuals.

Paul and his wife, Paige, have lived in the greater Kansas City area for more than 25 years. Their growing family includes son, Andrew, and his wife, Michelle, who have two children (Mackenzie and Matthew); daughter, Becky, and her husband, Scott Hopke; and daughter, Anna.
