CHICAGO, April 22, 2014 /Christian Newswire/ -- Nehemiah Leaders,  business, government and church leaders are coming together to PRAY for CHICAGO . This event is the Kick-Off  for the National Day of Prayer and slated to be held,  Wednesday, April 30, 2014, from 9:00AM to 5:00PM on the Daley Plaza.

This year's theme is "Crossing the lines, a City on it's knees."  PRAY for CHICAGO  is an annual Prayer Gathering & Movement in conjunction with the Annual National Day of Prayer. The purpose is for the Greater Body of Christ to launch a Canopy of Prayer over the Chicagoland region in a very bold and public way by raising the "Banner" of Jesus Christ (Jehova Nissi) in the center of the Marketplace, Daley Plaza.  Last year we had a multitude in attendance, distributed over 1,000 Bibles, and countless testimonies of Salvation, Healing and favor.

This event will reflect the diversity of the Body of Christ within the

Chicagoland region uniting to Pray for and bless the City.  Join us at Daley Plaza as we Pray, Praise and Worship. We will be Praying over Chicagoland in a multitude of Languages, we will have Ministry Resources available and we will release an Evangelism team to work around Daley Plaza throughout the day. There will also be Prayer stations with Prayer Teams to pray for those who desire prayer and encouragement.

Hosting this event will be Nehemiah Leaders at Daley Plaza, 50 W Washington St, Chicago, IL 60602.  To RSVP, contribute or additional information, please call: (865) 377-9625
