Newt Gingrich Not 'Worthy of Death' -- Chaplain Sends 'Cease and Desist' Warnings to Huffington Post, Queerty.Com, Rawstory.com, and PFAW
Contact: Chaplain Gordon James Klingenschmitt, PhD, 719-360-5132, chaplaingate@yahoo.com

WASHINGTON, Jan. 5, 2013 /Christian Newswire/ -- In a highly defamatory and false report circulating some liberal internet sites, a former Navy Chaplain has been falsely accused of stating that Newt Gingrich is "worthy of death." But Chaplain Gordon James Klingenschmitt, PhD, in fact never said those words, rather he said the opposite, that Newt Gingrich is clearly not engaged in homosexual conduct (which could render someone so worthy according to Romans 1:32), rather the Bible only "condemns" Newt's recent endorsement of homosexual "marriage" as sin.

"Cease and Desist" warnings have been issued to the Huffington Post, Queerty.com, RawStory.com, and the anti-Christian group People for the American Way (PFAW), who are apparently also guilty of copyright infringement and theft of the Chaplain's copyrighted TV show material.

"These anti-Jesus, Bible-haters have not only defamed me by maliciously misquoting me, they also stole my video, selectively edited to take my words out of context, removed my web-site prayinjesusname.org from my video, and added their own web-site, as if they were the owners or creators of my TV show. That's highly unethical, and illegal theft and piracy of my copyrighted content," said the Chaplain.

The liberal bloggers have been given 24 hours to remove their false statements, issue statements of retraction, and remove the illegally pirated video from their sites, or face further legal action.

"We take copyright infringement very seriously," said the Chaplain. "But more importantly, the Bible says in Romans 1:32 that homosexual sin makes one worthy of spiritual death in the eyes of God, and Newt Gingrich is clearly not a homosexual. I never actually said Newt is worthy of death, despite their highly defamatory claims to the contrary. I pray for Newt Gingrich, whom I deeply respect."

The original video of what the Chaplain DID say in context is posted around the 5 minute mark, here, without apology.
