THE NETHERLANDS, Sept. 25, 2014 /Christian Newswire/ -- Bible software Online Bible is now offering a new Android app.   And just as the Windows-based Online Bible offers free Base Packs, so this Android edition also comes with a full Base Pack, entirely free of charge in the Play Store.

"We have collected several high quality Bible study titles for this free Base Pack," said Peter van der Schelde, Content Manager of  Online Bible Applications at Cross Link Services. "Everyone who installs this free Base Pack will also receive two English Bible Versions, Greek/Hebrew Lexicons, a Bible Dictionary and Thematic and Scriptural References."

The app is not limited to the titles of the free Base Pack. Registered users can obtain more titles free of charge. Beside this there is an in-app store to obtain other titles.

"One of the great characteristics of the Online Bible, since it started in Canada back in 1987, is the quality of content and its non-commercial approach," Peter continued, "and we are still dedicated to expand this ministry with apps with a growing library of quality content."

Those who have always used the Windows based Online Bible can choose to activate the import facility to transfer files from their desktop to the Android device.
