DALLAS, Feb. 17 /Christian Newswire/ -- MyFaith.com announced today plans to launch a new video sharing site for Christians with the theme "Broadcast Jesus". For over 10 years MyFaith.com has served believers on-line with valuable content and resources, helping Christ-followers grow in their faith. Now under new ownership, MyFaith is re-launching as a new video sharing website in early 2009. MyFaith will continue focusing on Jesus and becoming a community of believers sharing God's love with one another and with the world.

Christians, churches, ministries, and music artists will be able to stream their videos for free and share videos with their friends. The only other major Christian website to offer free video streaming has been GodTube, which recently changed their name to Tangle. MyFaith.com seeks to offer an alternative to GodTube / Tangle. For those that feel Tangle has shifted away from their founding purpose, MyFaith.com will offer a strong focus on serving believers who are seeking to grow closer to Jesus and discover God's purposes for their lives.

In traditional terms, MyFaith.com is a "Christian" website, but prefers the terms "Believer" or "Christ follower". "Christ Follower" is the meaning of the word "Christian." MyFaith will serve Christ followers who believe in the Bible, the Nicene Creed and Apostles' Creed. The organization behind this new site is not revealing their identity at this time, but is evangelical Christian in beliefs. All Evangelical, Protestant and Catholic believers - all those who call upon Jesus as Savior and Lord - and all who are curious about Christianity and Jesus Christ - are welcome on MyFaith.com.

Since 1999 MyFaith.com has been a profoundly Christian website, and will continue to be. The new MyFaith.com leadership believes that the Church must share the good news of Jesus Christ and the truths of the Bible with the world.

MyFaith.com is inviting churches and Christian music artists to a special preview of the new site, and is seeking volunteers who would like to beta test the new site prior to the official launch. Please visit http://www.MyFaith.com for more information.
