FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, N.J., Jan. 15, 2018 /Christian Newswire/ -- Jack Morris, CEO and President of Edgewood Properties and Vice Chairman of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJ), and Joseph Jingoli, CEO of Joseph Jingoli & Son, Inc., Joseph Jingoli, received the 2018 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Service Award on Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens (FBCLG).

Morris and Jingoli, business partners in the field of real estate and construction, work to rebuild communities within New Jersey. The developers recently partnered with Hard Rock International to purchase the Trump Taj Mahal Casino located in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The casino will be turned into a Hard Rock facility. Morris and Jingoli have invested in a training program for residents of Atlantic City to ensure future employment opportunities for local citizens.

"They're developing a model so that big developers and contractors will stop bringing people in from all over the world to employ local people wherever money is spent to rebuild those neighborhoods," said DeForest "Buster" Soaries, FBCLG Senior Pastor. "It's a phenomenal model."

The service award is given to those who champion for justice in underrepresented communities. Morris and Jingoli were applauded and appreciated for their continuous efforts in community development and service.

Jack Morris is responsible for many developments throughout the state of New Jersey and also sits on the Board of Trustees at RWJ. Joseph Jingoli has helped revitalize and build up Middlesex County with focus on school developments.

"When New Jersey has had a need they respond with great dispatch. I value people who see a need and create solutions," said Dr. Soaries.
