TAMPA, Florida, Nov. 14 /Christian Newswire/ -- Without Walls International Church (WWIC) in collaboration with Paula White Ministries (PWM) announced today that ”Table In The Wilderness” their annual Thanksgiving feeding outreach will begin a week of charitable giving on Saturday, November 18th from 9am-1pm. This will continue to go on throughout the week and culminate on Thanksgiving Day when the White’s will host thousands of homeless and displaced people, battered women and children living in shelters, as well as all those in need, to what has become one of Tampa’s largest feeding programs.
"On this Thanksgiving, needy families will be provided with a turkey and a food box that will feed a family of four for an entire week," said Bishop Randy White, who pastors Without Walls International Church, one of America's largest and fastest growing churches, along with his wife Paula White. The White’s have been an integral part of the Tampa Bay community for over 15 years.
“Our goal is to feed thousands of hungry men, women, and children this Thanksgiving holiday," says White. "This is an opportunity for our joint-ministries to make a real difference in the lives of those living in our community as well as across the nation who are having a tough time financially."
The Whites who are known in Tampa for their proactive community involvement also facilitate clothing programs for the needy, operate a food bank, host educational programs and job fairs, and regularly reach out to youths and people at risk in their community through Operation Explosion, a Gospel based street ministry.
“This year’s theme for “Table in the Wildness” is A Season of Giving," White announced. "We will be celebrating God's goodness with games, food, music and fun. We will also be offering free haircuts and health screenings, Plus, representatives from the fire department, police department, insurance and financial groups will be on-hand sharing valuable free information."
The White’s share a goal of tearing down the walls that divide people and a community--walls of racism, walls of poverty, walls of denomination. “That’s where the name Without Walls comes from," says White. "Last year we fed over 6,000 hungry people here in Tampa during Thanksgiving and we are hoping to feed 10,000 this year."
Tax deductible donations are now being accepted for “Table In The Wilderness.” To be a part of this feeding outreach, visit: www.withoutwalls.org, or go to: www.paulawhite.org.
