Sean Feucht returns to Azusa Street for Azusafest 2021 on April 9 & 10

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 22, 2021 /Christian Newswire/ -- Azusa Street Mission & Historical Society announces on the 115th anniversary of William Seymour traveling to Los Angeles on Feb 22, 1906; the winner of the coveted William Seymour award. This year's William J Seymour award winner is Sean Feucht of "Let us Worship" movement. Sean Feucht is the most unlikely winner during our Black History month celebration. His statements and actions during our New Year's Eve celebration revealed the heart of our William Seymour recipient this year. The statement, "Only a United Church can heal a divided Nation," agrees with William Seymour statement, "the color line is washed away in the blood of Jesus." The WJS award will be given during the annual Azusafest celebration on April 9th in the footprint of the old mission. The theme for this year's celebration is "Redeeming the Time" Ephesians 5:14 & 15. All services are free and open the public.

Fred and Wilma Berry founders of the Azusa Street Mission & Historical Society have been awarding pastors and leaders the William J. Seymour Award since 2006. Prior recipients of the W.J. Seymour award have been: Bishop Charles E.
