FRANKLIN, Tenn., June 26, 2015 /
Christian Newswire/ -- Nickelodeon actress Amber Montana and co-star and film producer Randy LaHaye, are taking to the road this summer to promote the upcoming EchoLight Studios' film, "Vanished: Left Behind -- Next Generation."
The tour will make stops at all five Creation Festivals (Christian music festivals) across the U.S. during June and July. Montana and LaHaye will be on site to share the theatrical trailer and encourage festival attendees to join the "Vanished Underground" national street team to help spread excitement for the film's release in early 2016.
As a part of the summer tour, Montana and LaHaye will travel to each festival on a bus wrapped in "Vanished" signage. The "Vanished" bus is scheduled to stop at five festivals including: Creation Fest NE (Mt. Union, Pennsylvania) June 24-27, River Rock (River Resort, Maine) July 3-4, Icthus (Lexington, Kentucky) July 8-11, Sonshine (Minneapolis, Minnesota) July 16-18, and Amber also will make an appearance at the Creation NW (Tri-Cities, Washington) July 30-Aug 1.
Vanished is a fresh and modern story for the post "Twilight" generation, and asks: What would happen if everyone you cared about suddenly vanished?
Left behind as the world seems to be ending, headstrong 15-year-old Gabby is thrust into adulthood way too soon, along with her younger sister Claire and the two teen boys vying for Gabby's affection, Josh and Flynn.
An action-packed, adventure story complete with suspense and romance, "Vanished" is based on Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins' popular "Left Behind:The Vanishings" young adult novels. The film is filled with a star-studded teen cast including Nickelodeon's "Haunted Hathaway's" Amber Montana, MTV's "Teen Wolf" Dylan Sprayberry and Mason Dye from Lifetime's smash movie "Flowers in the Attic."
"We are looking forward to having Amber and Randy on the tour, and we are excited to show fans the trailer for this incredible film," said EchoLight senior director of marketing, James Barnes. "Fans of the 'Left Behind' and the 'Left Behind Kids' series are in for a real treat and this tour will serve to inspire excitement and allow fans to become personally involved in spreading the word over the next 8 months to come see the film in February, 2016."
