WASHINGTON, April 16 /Christian Newswire/ -- On Tuesday, at 11:00 a.m. at the terrace of the Cannon House Office Building (on New Jersey Avenue), Faith2Action will announce a national television campaign to fight so-called "hate crimes" (H.R. 1592)—a bill which has already sent grandmas to jail for the "crime" of sharing the Gospel on a Philadelphia public sidewalk. The announcement will come as part of a press conference led by the Traditional Values Coalition, a linking partner of Faith2Action.

On Tuesday, the U.S. House will begin hearings on the bill that would expand the definition of hate crimes to include "thought crimes" against the homosexual agenda.  "The 'Hate Crimes' bill is better named 'Hate Grandma' or 'Hate Free Speech' bill as it poses a serious threat to the freedom of speech for every American," said Folger.
