MEDIA ADVISORY, Dec. 22, 2010 /Christian Newswire/ -- Having already released the stories of the Old and New Testament as a part of a graphic novel series, The Almighty Bible team plans to carry the excitement over into the multimedia format. The app itself is free and includes the story of Creation and The Garden of Eden. With the app you receive everything that is included in the book version in addition to narration, a glossary, maps, animations and full-text options. For the book of Genesis, there are an additional three sections totaling 146 pages, each section is only 99 cents. The incredible response to such digital versions of the Bible as www.youversion.com and the Children's Bible 3.0 has been a great indicator of where the Christian products are most strongly desired. The Almighty Bible is extremely excited to be a part of this movement and plan to further develop the app by adding games, lessons and more based off the response from their users.

The book and app series has been presented to many parents, youth ministers, authors and even Hollywood producers and the response has been overwhelming positive. Well known Christian author Mark Oestreicher says "I've seen The Almighty Bible on the iPad, and it is SO COOL! I've never seen anything quite like it. Makes me want to buy an iPad just for that."

The Almighty Bible series is edited by Kevin O'Donnell, creator and coproducer of PBS's multiple Emmy-nominated Liberty's Kids, and executive produced by Dong Chung, co-executive producer of the special DVD Adventures in Odyssey. The Almighty Bible books and mobile apps are published by Apple of the Eye.

Apple of the Eye, a company founded on Christian principles, is publishing the project with a goal to connect with a new generation of Bible readers. Daniel Park, CEO, states, "I strongly believe that the Almighty Bible series will help to strengthen relationships between parents and children while they spend time reading God's word."

The app and book of Genesis will be available on the iPhone, iTouch and Droid in early January. Exodus will be released on the iPad around this time as well. Visit thealmightybible.com to learn more about the series
