At least that's what an elderly ex-alcoholic janitor tells young Richard Kelly in THE LEAST AMONG YOU, a compelling film that will either provoke or inspire you. Starring Academy Award® Winner Louis Gossett Jr., and introducing Cedric Sanders (hot off of AMERICAN GANSTER), this remarkable story of the life of Richard Kelly emerges as one of hope and inspiration.

THE LEAST AMONG YOU is based on the true story of Richard Kelly (Sanders), a promising young African-American student who was about to embark on his life-long dream and escape the hard life in the ghetto, when an arrest at the 1965 Watts riot loses him his dream job, and he's forced to serve probation time at a local seminary.  Encouraged by seminary president, Alan Beckett (Devane) to break the color barrier and start a grass-roots awakening of the racist campus. Beckett and others sabotaged, tormented, and made a mockery of him in efforts to prove their stereotype. Hopeless and despaired, Richard fatefully meets Samuel (Gossett Jr.) an elderly gardener who dares him to explore the pain if he wants to discover his true identity.
