WASHINGTON, July 3 /Christian Newswire/ -- Rev. Rob Schenck of Faith and Action together with Rev. Patrick Mahoney of the Christian Defense Coalition are organizing for large scale protests, prayer vigils and rallies in defense of the Mt. Soledad Cross in San Diego, CA.  A news conference will be held in front of the United States Supreme Court today, Monday, July 3, 2006 at 3:45 PM EST to comment on how Justice Kennedy's decision will affect protest plans.  Today’s event will include prayers of thanksgiving for the issuance of the stay.
