WASHINGTON, Aug. 16 /Christian Newswire/ --I find it interesting that people are so shocked by the recent statistics by the Department of Justice showing African Americans to be the victims of nearly half of the murders committed in 2005.

This generation of young men have become products of violence and unfortunately many have heartlessly embraced the culture of death surrounding this country--one that includes killing other human beings.

It is also unfortunate that we are living in a time where there is an every man for himself mentality that our young people are constantly and consistently buying into.

Abortion mills ravage our city streets killing black children by the thousands and yet, life goes on for the rest of us--as we look the other way.

It's so easy to sit back and point fingers--and in the coming months due to the 2008 elections we'll hear every politician touting how we need more cops, better jails and more death sentences.

But it is necessary that we get the "big picture" which includes the "big fact" that as long as America legally supports abortion and the deaths of millions of innocents--we are teaching our young people that life is worthless--if he gets in your way--take him out!

The answer can never be to protect and respect the lives of "some" people and not the lives of others. It must be ALL--or for many, sadly, it will be nothing!

Abortion is the number one killer of African Americans--killing more black people than heart attacks, stroke, HIV-AIDS, accidents, cancer, violent crime and all other deaths--COMBINED! More than 15 million black people--lost to abortion since 1973.
