Young Christian Entrepreneur Named National Finalist for the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards Sponsored by Mercedes-Benz Financial

ATLANTA, Sept. 24 /Christian Newswire/ -- Young Atlanta entrepreneur, Chelsea Eubank has been named a national finalist for the Global Student Entrepreneur awards sponsored by Mercedes-Benz Financial. Chelsea is the founder and president of Faithful Fish clothing company. Chelsea created Faithful Fish in 2005 when she was just 17 years old after losing her father and two other immediate family members within five months of each other. Inspired to create a line of faithful clothing she used her gift of creativity and love of clothing to create Faithful Fish (www.faithfulfish.com) with a goal of giving a portion of all profits to charity.
Chelsea will compete in the final competition in November at the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, Kansas City, Missouri. This final competition of the year brings together the best student entrepreneurs from around the world to compete for the 2009 Global Student Entrepreneur Awards Global Title.
Chelsea grew up with a learning disability and now attends an LD college in Florida. She recently spoke at several high and middle schools in the Atlanta area about being a young entrepreneur and about how she has learned to be successful despite her limitations. She is currently a senior at Beacon College, the only four-year accredited LD college in the US.
In June of this year Chelsea had guest appearances on FOX & Friends, the Dave Ramsey shows (both TV & radio) and Good Day Atlanta. Chelsea and Faithful Fish have been featured in numerous secular and non-secular publications including The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Atlanta Christian Family Magazine, Points North Magazine, COSMOGirl!, Seventeen Magazine and Ignite Your Faith. On-line press has included being featured on Alloy.com as one of the top ten teen fashion websites and Christian Retailing-Industry Radar. She is currently an "On-line Money Advisor" for Seventeen Magazine which provides practical financial advice for teens through their website.
Chelsea is a member of Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church in Marietta, GA. She attends Leesburg First Baptist Church while at college.
