HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Jan. 4, 2021 /Christian Newswire/ -- Movie actor James Linzey called film director and producer Joshua Coates on New Year's Day. Linzey said, "I have faith that God is going to help a lot of people this new year." According to Coates, Linzey was intuitive and optimistic, not only for his career and what the future holds for him, but very much so for America and the rest of the world.

Coates, director and executive producer of the major feature film, Iniquity, went on to say that Linzey sounded very upbeat, and sort of like a mystic, yet not like Tom Cruise who is into Scientology. Linzey claims that he receives direction from God for his acting career, singing shows, a new recording project, and writings.

Linzey had a lead role in Iniquity, had the star role in The Chips are Down, and roles in many other productions. He has also appeared on mainstream media such as CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, TNN, NPR and on many other networks. He has performed throughout the world on television as well. He has sung with fellow mega stars such as Jimmie Rogers, Pat Boone, Kathy Lee Gifford, Debbie Boone, and performed at venues with the 5th Dimension's Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis, Jr., The Emotions, Ray Price, and many other fellow celebrities.

He also recorded with Grammy Award Nominee Triumphant Quartet on a faith-based album by his mother, movie actress Verna Hall Linzey, singing harmony with her on "The Rose" by Bette Midler, and used in the soundtrack for the movie Iniquity. Linzey has travelled on tour to the United Kingdom, Europe, Canada, Mexico, Latin America, Haiti, Singapore, Philippine Islands, Japan, and Ukraine, sometimes appearing with Verna Linzey. "But my favorite place in the world to film is right here in America," Linzey said over a cup of coffee while chatting with Coates in a very relaxing mood.

"Linzey is enthusiastic regarding America and faith in God. In fact, he has gone into much depth about his faith and his convictions and believes that faith is much more than a positive force," said Coates. "Ethics, honesty, and personal morality with Christ as our guide, is what it takes to keep America prosperous, safe, and on the right track," Linzey told him.
