Paul Schenck, Director of NPLAC, Applauds High Court's Approval of Federal Funding of Religious Organizations

Contact: Day Gardner, Director of Public Relations, NPLAC on Capitol Hill, 202-834-0844

WASHINGTON, June 25 /Christian Newswire/ -- Paul Schenck, Executive Director of the National Pro-Life Action Center located by the US Supreme Court hailed the High Court's approval today of federal funding of religious organizations. Schenck will participate in a White House Conference on Faith Based Initiatives tomorrow, June 26.

"The high wall of separation is a myth used by radical secularists to abridge freedom of speech and religion" Schenck said from his office. "What the Court did today was to lower that wall - allowing Christians and other religious Americans to fully participate in efforts to improve our communities," he added.

Schenck is chairman of Faith and Action in the Nation's Capital, which maintains the only Christian mission at the Supreme Court.

"For more than ten years, Faith and Action has been working to proclaim Biblical Truths on Capitol, and change the nation one public official at a time. The Court's decision today affirms that mission - we've now begun to see the fruit of our labors."

Schenck will be available for interviews and commentary today before and after his White House consultation.
