'A Cry For Justice' Hits the Snowy Streets of Wichita

Contact: Troy Newman, President, 316-841-1700; Cheryl Sullenger, Outreach & Media Coordinator, 316-516-3034 both; with Operation Rescue

WICHITA, Kansas, Jan. 21 /Christian Newswire/ -- After a day-long conference yesterday, which keep pro-lifers from a major snowstorm that dumped 6-8 inches of snow across south-central Kansas, Operation Rescue will lead A Cry For Justice back to the streets today with a number of activities to call attention to the grisly late-term abortionist George R. Tiller and the human tragedy of abortion on the eve of the 34th Roe v. Wade memorial.

The group will start the day by attending Sunday morning worship services at a number of different churches in the Wichita area. Dr. Gary Cass of Coral Ridge Ministries Center for Reclaiming America will speak at Heartland Community Church at 9:15 AM. Rev. Pat Mahoney of the Christian Defense Coalition will speak at 10:00 AM at City Church, 2634 Amidon.

The entire group will gather for a building dedication service at 1:30 PM of the former Central Women's Services abortion building located at 3013 E. Central Ave. Operation Rescue bought the clinic and closed the abortion business last spring, leaving only one abortion clinic left in Wichita.

Following the dedication service, Operation Rescue will conduct a prayer activity in the neighborhood area of George Tiller's residence at 13th and Webb.

A Candlelight Vigil will be held at 6 PM at Tiller's abortion clinic, Women's Health Care Services, followed by a special activity that is to be announced.
