MEDIA ADVISORY, Dec. 22 /Christian Newswire/ -- Three fifteen-year-old girls and their math teacher have created a story that follows in the footsteps of the inspirational fantasy of authors like C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkein. The Alliance: Book One of the Faeltheon embarks on a tale of good vs. evil where Faeries, Elves, Goblins, and Humans co-exist – or do they? Determined to be a book that promotes traditional values, this novel takes the reader on an adventurous, dangerous journey to save the un-fallen race of the Faeltheon, without unnecessary controversy such as those seen in recent publishings.

"The young, recently orphaned Elwyn Elenthea must now take her mother's place as Queen of Faerie, but when disaster threatens her people and their way of life, her inexperience could be fatal for them all. In their new fantasy novel, The Alliance, authors Rachel DiDomenico, Chrystine Kern, Samantha Ward and Michele Yardumian launch the adventures of the Faeltheon, an ancient race of Faeries and Elves whose very existence is threatened by their dreadful enemies. Though Elwyn's friends and advisors join with her to try to avert tragedy, their heroic efforts will not be enough without the legendary Master of Marliondolen. When their enemies' band together, determined to destroy the Faeltheon, there ensues a battle of wits and faith to survive that deadly Alliance. But, as the sands of time run out, even the wisest among them cannot answer the essential questions: who is to be the Master of Marliondolen, and what exactly must he do?"

What makes this book remarkable is how it came to be. While Rachel, Chrystine, and Samantha were students in Michele's math class, the four authors began writing the story as a fun and challenging activity during their lunch period. By the end of the summer, they had created a full-length novel that not only teaches strong values, but also serves to inspire its readers to push forward with their dreams, something so many books for young teens lack these days.

With their first book published and three more on the way, these authors are very excited to share their story. If you have any questions about the book, or would like to request an interview, you can reach Samantha Ward at samantha@faeltheon.com.
