Picking up steam, ProtectMarriage.com--Yes on 8 announced today the hiring of their new (1) Deputy Campaign Manager, Logistics; (2) Director of Latino Outreach; and (3) Press Secretary.

Yes on 8's Deputy Campaign Manager, Logistics, is Rick Ahearn. Special assistant to President Ronald Reagan, and at the scene when Reagan was shot, Ahearn brings more than two decades of experience in event planning and public affairs. Most recently, Ahearn was Deputy Campaign Manager and head of the advance team for New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani's 2008 presidential campaign.

Yes on 8's Director of Latino Outreach is Laura Saucedo Cunningham. She is a public affairs professional with almost two decades of experience in governmental and political affairs. A resident of Orange County, Cunningham has served on the staff of elected officials, worked with volunteers, and developed and implemented political and finance plans. She was born in Guanajuato, Mexico and speaks Spanish fluently. Her native fluency in Mexican language and culture assists in outreach to Latino media and constituencies.

He is an attorney with more than a decade of experience in governmental and political affairs. A resident of Los Angeles County, White has served on the staff of various political campaigns, the California State Legislature, and the United States District Court in Sacramento.
