FRONT ROYAL, Va., Dec. 16, 2019 /Christian Newswire/ -- Planned Parenthood watchdog Life Decisions International (LDI) has released a new edition of The Boycott Handbook, which identifies corporations that support Planned Parenthood, the world's primary abortion-advocacy Goliath.
"As a direct result of the commitment, action and prayers of pro-family people, at least 366 corporations have stopped funding Planned Parenthood," said LDI Board Chairman Thomas C. Strobhar (photo). It is estimated that the boycott has cost Planned Parenthood more than $21.5 million since the Corporate Funding Project (CFP) began. "This should serve as a testament to those who think it impossible to change corporate behavior."
New boycott targets include AutoZone, BP (petrol, energy), Canadian Imperial Bank (CIBC), GoFundMe, Lionsgate Entertainment, McKesson (Health Mart, Sunmark, Rexall Pharmacy), Office Depot/Office Max, Penske (transportation sales and rentals), Quest Diagnostics (medical testing), SIRVA (Allied, Global, and North American Van Lines), and United Fire (insurance).
Among the continuing boycott targets are: Adobe, Ameriprise Financial, Bank of America, Bank of Montreal (BMO), Chanel (cosmetics, fragrances, etc.) Clorox (cleaning products, Brita, Burt's Bees, Fresh Step, Glad, Hidden Valley, KC Masterpiece, Kingsford charcoal, Kitchen Bouquet, Scoop Away, etc.), Danone (Dannon products), Deutsche Bank, eBay, Estēe Lauder (cosmetics, fragrances, etc.), Expedia (travel planning websites: CarRentals, CheapTickets, Ebookers, Expedia, HomeAway, Hotels, Hotwire, Orbitz, Travelocity, trivago, etc.); Kaiser Permanente, LVMH (cosmetics, eyewear, fragrances, jewelry, luggage, etc.), M&T Bank, Marriott (Courtyard, Delta, Fairfield, Four Points, Renaissance, Residence Inn, Sheraton, SpringHill Suites, St. Regis, TownePlace Suites, Westin, etc.), Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), Toronto-Dominion (TD) Bank, and UnitedHealthcare.
The Boycott Handbook includes a "Nonprofits Behaving Badly" section, which identifies charities associated with Planned Parenthood or other advancement of the Culture of Death. Among the groups listed are: ALS Association, American Cancer Society, Avon Foundation for Women, Boys & Girls Clubs, Camp Fire, Catholic Relief Services, Council of Churches, Eagles Clubs, Easter Seals, Elks Clubs, Girl Guides, Girl Scouts, Girls Inc., Kiwanis Clubs, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Lions Clubs, March of Dimes, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Parkinson's Disease Foundation, Red Cross, Red Nose Day, Rotary Clubs, Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, Salvation Army, Save the Children, Sierra Club, Susan G. Komen, UNICEF, YMCA, and YWCA.
Strobhar said the ongoing success of the Corporate Funding Project is due to the tenacity of pro-life people who "understand the power of the dollar and are willing to go the extra mile for the sake of preborn children."
