Moving Beyond Ministries was founded by Thompson due to a calling for women and Millennials that personal challenges should not define a person, but be a stepping stone on the journey for personal success, achievement and self-worth. "There is nothing more real than life," says Thompson and uses that phrase as a personal mantra for getting back to living an extraordinary life according to one's calling and talents by fully relying on God's word and through prayer.

A certified health coach, licensed physical therapist assistant and third-degree blackbelt in Taekwondo, Thompson felt led to go into the ministry full-time and dropped everything to get her minister credentials at Global University in Springfield, MO. A cancer survivor, she is passionate about promoting healthy living as a vital component in making great choices that maximize our lives spiritually, mentally and physically.

The vision for challenging women and young girls to dream, believe and achieve regardless of their life experiences, gives Thompson the mission for her life and resulted in the creation of Moving Beyond Ministries.
