ABILENE, Texas, Feb. 27, 2013 /Christian Newswire/ -- In 2006, David Lyons became one of the 2.1 million men and women diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis worldwide. Lying in a hospital bed, numb from the chest down, barely able to move, David had no idea that in only three years God would take him from the pain and frustration of the initial diagnosis to the stage of a bodybuilding championship where he would win the title of "Most Inspirational."
Facing his own personal Goliath, David Lyons, like his namesake, chose to overcome through the power of faith and perseverance. David's epic journey, already an inspiration to hundreds across the country, is told in "David's Goliath: Winning the Battle against All Odds," which will be released during "MS Awareness Month" March 2013.
"'David's Goliath' will empower all of us to Climb Higher and find the strength to overcome even the most difficult challenge," says Montel Williams, acclaimed TV host, bestselling author and creator of The Montel Williams MS Foundation.
