Christian Newswire/ -- Voices of Christ Literary Ministries International (VOC) will host its premier Christian Prophetic Poets & Writers Retreat, Summoning the Commander of the City, Wednesday-Saturday, October 26-29, 2011 in Greater Atlanta. This is the only writing retreat tailored specifically for prophetic administrative, instructional and creative scribes of the King.
"As Christian writers, we can go almost anywhere, anytime and on any given day to learn to craft a good story, position ourselves for mainstream publishing or even to market or promote our books," said Theresa Harvard Johnson, apostle and founder of VOC. The retreat features highly unique and powerful apostolic-prophetic teachings, interactive sessions and prophetic demonstrations taught under The Scribal Anointing® which uncovers the historical and revelational identity of the scribe as hidden in the scriptures; the ministry of the prophetic scribe and the increasing role Christian writers play globally. Until now, there have been very few, if any, Christian writer retreats, conferences and gatherings that meet the unique needs of this specific population of writers.
The retreat, which is held biennially, is attended by poets, spoken word artists, song writers, grant writers, dreamers, novelists, devotionalists, song writers, children book writers, etc. from around the world.
