For the last four years Arabic Christian Perspective (www.ministrytomuslims.com) has been asking Muslim leaders to argue their side of this topic, but have not received any willing and qualified debaters. Finally, Nadir Ahmed, a Muslim backed by the Islamic Center of Peoria, IL, has decided to take the challenge. He has debated several other evangelical debaters in the US and is determined to "expose the propaganda against Islam." On the other side, Sam Shamoun, a Christian scholar-writer from the website www.answering-islam.org, believes Islam is not a religion of peace but rather one of violence and hatred. Hear from the Qur’an, Hadiths and other holy books of Islam concerning this issue.

The debate is scheduled for November 3rd, 2007 in Fullerton, CA. The debate begins at 2:00pm (registration begins 1:30pm at the door). This event will be held at Hope International University 2500 E. Nutwood Ave., Fullerton, CA 92831 in the Pacific Auditorium. The goal of the debate is to seek the truth about Islam and disclose any misconceptions or deceptions currently being circulated within Western culture. Admission is $8.00 for the general public and free for students.
