Obama Wants Gay Boy Scouts: Christians Call to Action

JACKSON, Tenn., Feb. 5, 2013 /Christian Newswire/ -- President Obama expressed his desire to see Gay Boys become Scouts; corporate America has threatened to stop funding the Boy Scouts if they do not lift the ban on gays. The U. S. Supreme Court upheld the ban in 2000. Nevertheless, On February 3, 2013, President made pubic his beliefs regarding the Boy Scouts of America. The President stated that gays should be allowed to join the Boy Scouts. The President's comments: "My attitude is that gays and lesbians should have access and opportunity the same way everybody else does in every institution and walk of life. The Scouts are a great institution that are promoting young people and exposing them to opportunities and leadership that will serve people for the rest of their lives. And I think nobody should be barred from that." He is the Honorary President of the Boy Scouts however these boys need to be protected from him in the name of Jesus. President Obama is demonstrating cunning craftiness in his reasoning as he has done in his same-sex marriage agenda.

Again, we all would like to see all boys have these opportunities, however, scouts take an oath and there is a law that governs the scouts. The Boy Scouts resolve is to committed to both God and country and every aspect of the Scout Law.

Scout Oath (or Promise)

    On my honor I will do my best
    To do my duty to God and my country
    And to obey the Scout Law;
    To help other people at all times;
    To keep myself physically strong,
    Mentally awake, and morally straight.

Scout Law

    A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly,
    Courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty,
    Brave, clean, and reverent.

Do gays qualify to take this oath and obey this law? In President Obama's inaugural address, he referred to the certain unalienable rights endowed by the Creator. The definition of "unalienable rights," is those rights that cannot be surrendered, sold or transferred to someone else - the government, for example, or another person. Some people refer to these as "natural" or "God-given" rights (life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness). He used these words to support his same-sex marriage agenda.

In Conclusion:

  1. God gave homosexuals up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves
     

  2. God gave them up unto vile affections
     

  3. God gave them over to a reprobate mind
     

  4. The scouts take an oath and follow a law -- gays cannot follow the law or take the oath in good faith
     

  5. To allow gays into the Boy Scouts of America, "God" and "morally straight" must be removed from the oath and the words "clean" and "reverent" must be removed from the Scout Law
     

  6. Let us pray not for Gay Scouts, Let us pray that gays repent and be saved
     

  7. The LGBT's community of 1.5 million petitioning the Boy Scouts to change
     

  8. President Obama has deceived the people through cunning craftiness
     

  9. The Supreme Court has spoken and upheld the ban on gays -- But the President has spoken contrary to the Court
     

  10. God has spoken -- But the President has spoken contrary to Word of God

  13. This is a call for Christian leaders to Action. Christian leaders can shift the focus from pressuring the Boy Scouts to change by sharing the Truth to Corporate America and the Christian Community. Christians must be the Light. We must take action now.
