AUBURNDALE, Fla., Dec. 19 /Christian Newswire/ -- Jocelyn Andersen, author of Woman Submit! Christians & Domestic Violence has created The Dorcas Network which empowers Christians to help to the battered/abused wives who may turn to them for help.

The Dorcas Network is currently working in tandem with The Sadie Finney Project which will be distributing resource kits containing books and brochures educating churches on the need to aggressively address the issue of abuse and domestic violence within their own congregations and spheres of influence.

The Dorcas Network is dedicated to providing solid biblical support and resources to a grassroots network of Christian men and women who believe Christians should be leading the charge in the fight against domestic violence and are committed to raising awareness of the plight of battered women within the Christian community.
