Fans of 'Sisters' are Disordered

NEW YORK, May 25, 2023 /Christian Newswire/ -- Most Americans are opposed to bigotry, against any demographic group. Anti-Catholicism, however, which is often called America's oldest prejudice, is one of the few exceptions to the rule. As the Los Angeles Dodgers have proven, by reinviting the anti-Catholic hate group, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, the animus against Catholics is alive and well.

As the report we issued on the "Sisters" shows, these homosexual men dressed as nuns are a sick group.

The Catholic Church accepts homosexuals as children of God, but it also says that homosexual inclinations are "objectively disordered" and that homosexual acts are "intrinsically disordered." The "Sisters" are living proof of just how disordered these men are.

As has been widely reported, the Dodgers reinvited the "Sisters," after they previously disinvited them from Pride Night, June 16. But they did more than that. They issued an apology for disinviting them in the first place. No apology, or outreach, was extended to Catholics. Thus did the Dodgers put their official stamp of approval on anti-Catholicism.

How many queers hate Catholics? It's hard to say, but it is clear beyond a shadow of a doubt that many gays and trans persons in the Los Angeles area do. That is why it was reported that many "Los Angeles LGBTQ organizations" support the reinstatement of the "Sisters." This includes LA Pride and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.

Local government officials also hate Catholics. Rep. Robert Garcia, a Democrat, said the decision to disinvite the "Sisters" was "shameful" and done to "divide and separate our community." Rep. Jimmy Gomez, a Democrat, said he strongly supports them. Ashleigh Aitken, a Democrat, the mayor of Anaheim, is another big fan. The ACLU of Southern California, a proverbial hater of Catholics, also sided with the "Sisters."

No one in the media spilled more vitriol against Catholics than Mike Freeman of USA Today. He defended the "Sisters," accusing Sen. Marco Rubio and me—not the bigoted drag queens—of promoting hate.

As we previously stated, we are asking Catholics in the Los Angeles area not to attend the June 16 game where the "Sisters" will be honored. Next week we will announce the next round of Catholics whom we will be contacting to boycott this game.
