MEDIA ADVISORY, Feb. 25 /Christian Newswire/ -- Arkansas resident Mike Walker examines the importance of teaching through the eyes of teaching in his book, Teacher to Teacher from Revival Nation Publishing. In a world where Christianity and education are scrutinized by the media and the world, Walker reminds teachers that they are important. Through his book, Walker reminds Christians that Jesus is real and his teachings provide a crystal clear view of the world and the Christian's place in it.

"Through His parables and the author's experiences in the classroom, teachers are reminded of the importance of teaching, of the importance of the teacher to his or her students and, in turn, their importance to their teacher," Walker said. "Education regains its importance. In using the teachings of Christ, Christians can shake off doubts about their faith caused by society's dismissal of Jesus."

The book is receiving favorable reviews ahead of its official release date of March 1.

"I found Teacher to Teacher educational, insightful, and inspirational. But, most of all, as I finished the book, I was thinking of Jesus ... as a teacher!" said Radine Trees Nehring, author of Dear Earth: A Love Letter from Spring Hollow and To Die For.

Mike will be signing books on March 26 at the Gravette Public Library in Gravette, AR from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. He will speak at the AAIM 2009 Conference in Rogers, AR on April 21 and sign books from 8 a.m. to noon.
