/ -- BattleGroup Communications (BGC) announces the open enrollment for its Tailor-made for Impact project. From August 15 through September 14, leaders can enroll in the program, which educates, trains and mentors young people who are both in-school and out-of-school.
"We are only opening 2,556 spots nationwide," said LeaVonda Michelle, project administrator. "Our partners receive up to five years of support services, including communications management support, new curricula, outreach resources, bookstore publishing support and more.
"We take outreach into the juvenile detention systems, foster programs, alternative schools, community programs and other agencies that serve our community -- our true hidden treasures," LeaVonda Michelle added. "I believe if people with a heart to heal, build and restore the youths and their families lives went into the community, their actions will have a deep rippling effect."
The targeted programs foster community, keep children off the streets and out of trouble, and build strong connections that go beyond the classroom. Developing strategic partnerships between corporations, faith-based organizations, and government programs can benefit the entire community.
Tailor-Made for Impact Programs matches organizations and leaders with community partners that serve youth in their area. Leaders are given a starter kit with proven curricula and other resources to help them meet practical needs. Topics include workplace readiness skills, entrepreneurship skills and other tips for youth. Faith-based partners receive customizable journals for their ministries, and a design program for partner gifts, fundraising and youth projects.
"Developing strategic partnerships through programs like Tailor-made for Impact provide timely, powerful solutions by providing critical support to the education and family support systems when they need the most help," added LeaVonda Michelle.BattleGroup Communications (www.BattleGroupOnline.com) is a global communication management firm that supports community-building endeavors.
