Workplace Ministry Announces 2014 Award Recipients

HARTFORD, Conn., Dec. 22, 2014 /Christian Newswire/ -- In time for Christmas, Northeast Christians At Work, an all-volunteer workplace ministry, announced the recipients of the 16th annual 2014 Northeast Marketplace Ministry Awards. Each year during Christmas season, awards are given to individuals and organizations that demonstrate a high interest in, and practical application of, godliness in the workplace. Over the years, over 100 people and organizations have been recognized. In alphabetical order, the four 2014 award recipients are:
 
Ambassadors for Christ in Paradise, PA in the Most Helpful Para-Church Ministry category. This vibrant Chinese Christian ministry has been weaving the workplace into its ongoing missions activities.
 
Faith @ Work Summit in Boston, MA in the Most Helpful Resource category. Co-sponsored by Laity Renewal in Kerryville, TX and Letourneau University in Longview, TX, this Summit was held in October and was a blessing to many.
 
Rebecca Hinckley, Director of the Preschool of the Arts in Ellington, CT in the Most On-fire Manager category. Hinckley is a dedicated manager with a contagious positive attitude and a calming influence as she deals with children.
 
Gary Smith, Owner of Optimum Performance Technologies in Southington, CT in the Most On-fire Business Owner category. Smith leads the West of the River business leader group for the Fellowship of Companies for Christ International, and hosts a weekly call-in talk show on WSDK-AM 1550 Christian radio in Manchester, CT.
