TAMPA BAY, Aug. 16 /Christian Newswire/ -- Key Leaders in the Pro-Family movement converge on Tampa Bay, Florida September 20, 21, & 22. Tony Perkins, Gary Bauer, Katherine Harris, Ken Blackwell, Don Wildmon, Dr. Nancy Heche, Bishop Harry Jackson, Bob Knight, Dr. Richard Land, Alan Chambers, Leslee Unruh, and Dr. William Owens are among the more than 30 nationally known people guiding the pro-family movement who will be speaking at the Family Impact Summit.

The Summit Theme: INFORM Christians about issues that will affect our ability to live out our values; IGNITE the passion to get involved by explaining the consequences if we don't; and train Summit attendees on how to make an IMPACT when they go home to their own communities.

Presented by Community Issues Council, Family Research Council, Florida Family Policy Council, and Salem Communications Tampa the purpose of the Summit is to enable those who have become the "next generation" of national and grassroots Family Values Leaders to pass on their know-how to people wanting to make a difference and needing some guidance in how to do it.

The Family Impact Summit begins on Thursday evening, September 20 and continues on the 21st and 22nd and will be held at Bell Shoals Baptist Church in Brandon, FL.

Family Research Council is hosting a pre-Summit Regional Pastors' Briefing on the 20th during the day in the same location.
