RICHARDSON, Texas, April 4, 2023 /Christian Newswire/ -- The centuries-old leadership principles of one of the Bible's most obscure servant leaders could be the solution for America's current "leadership crisis," a prominent Bible teacher says.

"Our nation faces a crisis of leadership," said Bunni Pounds, a Bible teacher and former political consultant who founded the nonprofit ministry Christians Engaged (www.christiansengaged.org) in 2020.

Four hundred years before the birth of Jesus, Nehemiah lived at a time when Israel was in desperate need of leadership. According to the Bible, God used Nehemiah to mobilize the people of Israel to rebuild the broken-down walls of Jerusalem in only 52 days.
