Interest and momentum continues to grow among 100+ churches and marketplace leaders. The vision of CityFest East Texas is to encourage greater collaboration among civic, corporate, and church leaders, setting aside differences to better serve the city in a number of focus areas – such as homelessness, education, and foster care – and proclaim the Gospel on a grand scale.
CityFest will also include a months-long, region-wide effort to help churches saturate their neighborhoods with the Good News of Jesus Christ through regional outreaches and evangelistic gatherings. It will culminate in one large, multicultural festival on October 5-6, 2019 featuring top recording artists, world-class action sports demonstrations, activities for people of all ages, and a message of hope from Andrew Palau.
