HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif., Jan. 6 /Christian Newswire/ -- Two reading teachers, Walter C. Waid and Jordan H. Price have developed a reading improvement program for special needs students based on the work of Dr. Muriel E. Bruno, Phd. Dr. Bruno who died in 2001, developed hand-eye-ear coordination exercises and techniques for dyslexic, ADD, ADHD and special needs students. She used them successfully at her reading center for over 40 years.
Mr. Price and Mr. Waid have developed "TRIP: Targeted Reading Improvement Program" to carry on her work. "TRIP" is available as a tutorial DVD-ROM for home computers with resource material and twenty 3-part lessons of instructional techniques and exercises.
Mr. Price and Mr. Waid said they created "TRIP" to give homeschooling parents professional material and techniques at a low cost to help their special needs kids. In addition, "TRIP" is just as effective for adults and children in public school who have special reading needs. Even the beginning reader would benefit from this program.
