Pastor Terry Jones Cancels Koran Burning -- DC Based Christian Leaders to Meet and Thank Pastor Jones at Prayer Service Tomorrow

GAINESVILLE, Fla., Sept. 9 /Christian Newswire/ -- Rev. Patrick Mahoney of the Christian Defense Coalition and Rev. Rob Schenck of National Clergy Council, both Christian ministers from Washington DC, had plans to travel to Gainesville, Florida to meet with Pastor Terry Jones and plead with him to reconsider his plan to burn the Koran.
Following Pastor Jones decision to call off the Koran burning the two men have decided to continue with their trip but with a different purpose. They will be holding a prayer service in front of Pastor Jones church, the Dove World Outreach Center, Friday, September 10, at 9:00 a.m. which will be followed by a news conference.

Additionally Pastor Terry Jones has agreed to meet and pray with Rev. Mahoney and Rev. Schenck at the prayer service.
