In a significant development, prominent candidates such as Bobby Kennedy and Cornel West will not be on the ballot in this state.

"The state board of elections did the honorable thing by voting to place the Constitution Party on the ballot in North Carolina. They should have done the honorable thing and approved our petition submitted to the Board of Elections with more than the required verified signatures immediately. They still refused ballot access for RFK and Cornel West."
