CAROL STREAM, Ill., April 19, 2016 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Evangelical Press Association's annual convention was recently held in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on April 6-8, 2016 and was capped off with the naming of the 2016 Awards of Excellence and Higher Goals Awards. The ministry of Christianity Today took home 45 total awards.
The Evangelical Press Association hosts two annual contests that honor EPA-member publications, the Awards of Excellence for publications as a whole and the Higher Goals for individual pieces that were produced in the past year. Harold Smith, President and CEO of Christianity Today, shared his thoughts on the good news, "Yes, it's always great to be recognized in such a way by peers you admire. But it's doubly thrilling to have a team that's worked so hard in such a challenging industry to be so lauded for their work across ever-changing platforms. It's but another reason why I thank God regularly for the men and women he's drawn to this ministry."
Ten ministry brands from Christianity Today were among the award winners, pointing to the high-quality and thoughtful content produced and acknowledged by this year's judges.
