DALLAS, Mar. 9 /Christian Newswire/ -- Operation Outcry is excited to announce its first National Conference called Hope for Life in Atlanta, Georgia on April 16-18, 2009.  Hope for Life is a celebration of the second anniversary of the Supreme Court upholding the partial birth abortion ban on April 18, 2007.  The conference theme is "How Can We End the Pain of Abortion?"

The Supreme Court said, "While we find no reliable data to measure the phenomenon, it seems unexceptionable to conclude 'some women come to regret their choice to abort the infant life they once created and sustained.  Severe depression and loss of esteem can follow.'"

This unique conference features dynamic national and international speakers including, Dr. Alveda King, niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Norma McCorvey, the "Roe" of Roe v. Wade, and Sandra Cano, the "Doe" of Doe v. Bolton and over twenty other prominent speakers.  Sandra Cano has an amazing story about how she was used without her full consent in the Doe v. Bolton case. Renowned speakers will be presenting important information about abortion recovery programs, medical and psychological consequences of abortion, and how we can get actively involved in this fight for life.

Operation Outcry is a project of The Justice Foundation to overturn Roe v. Wade and end legal abortion in America by mobilizing women and men who have been hurt by abortion to tell the courts, legislatures, and America the truth that abortion hurts.

This revitalizing conference will be held April 16th through 18th at the Renaissance Concourse Hotel in Atlanta. The event will culminate Saturday, April 18th, with a march down Martin Luther King Boulevard in Atlanta, and rally at the original Doe v. Bolton courthouse celebrating this important victory at the Supreme Court.

Norma McCorvey and Sandra Cano are available for interviews along with Julie Thomas, Georgia State leader for Operation Outcry, and other speakers. To arrange an interview, please contact Tracy Reynolds, Media Relations Director, at (210) 614-7157 or (650) 400-0436.
