LEBANON, Ohio, Aug. 26, 2015 /Christian Newswire/ -- This month Otterbein Lebanon's women's Bible study group held a baby show to benefit Elizabeth's New Life Center. The group of approximately 20 independent living residents at Otterbein participated in a study of the Book of Ruth. The book of Ruth is a love story culminating in the birth of Obed, so for the study's last group meeting they hosted a baby shower in honor of Obed to benefit Elizabeth's New Life Center.

The mission of Elizabeth's New Life Center is to "Empower individuals and families to make Godly life Choices" and they specialize in positive solutions for unexpected pregnancies.

"I was encouraged by the fellowship and laughter during our time together and see that Otterbein fosters an environment of love and compassion. Elizabeth's New Life Center/Women's Center –Lebanon is so grateful for the opportunity to share our ministry with such wonderful women," said Elizabeth's New Life Center representative Renee Wisser.

The baby shower gifts will be used at their boutique in Lebanon for clients to purchase using "baby bucks" they earn from participating in individual mentoring and educational classes through the Earn While You Learn Program.
