BOULDER, Colo., Aug. 22, 2023 /
Christian Newswire/ -- Gloo, the leading technology platform dedicated to connecting the faith ecosystem and releasing its collective might, announced that it just surpassed its 30th outreach partner, intersecting hundreds of thousands of people looking for ways to get connected to community, prayer, and help.
Outreach partners are individuals or organizations that focus on creating transformational experiences for people and helping them grow. Partners span a spectrum of approaches, from worship concert experiences and radio ministries to digital and print advertising and online ministry outreach. "Partners are incredible at meeting and serving people right where they are," said Devon Kline, director of the Gloo Explorer Connection Platform. "But after people experience that spark, they are often ready to go deeper. It's not always sustainable for outreach partners to keep the relationship going. But for local ministries — that's exactly what they were made to do."
The Gloo platform enables these connections between "explorers," outreach partner experiences, and local ministries. Its match technology pairs explorers with local ministries so they can get connected and ultimately get the help they are looking for. So far, Gloo has connected over 250,000 explorers with local ministries.
"Every ministry has its own unique calling, mission, talents, and strengths. When it comes to co-serving one person along a growth journey, we're seeing outreach partners and local ministries coming together to do that holistically. It's incredible to see the 'Big C' Church working together in this way," said Kline.
She added: "But at the heart of this story is the person stepping forward asking to get connected. They're the unsung heroes here. It takes a lot of courage to step forward and ask for help. With over 250,000 explorers connected to local ministries, we start to see collective might at work."
Outreach partners using Gloo connect across a diverse group of explorers and include the
He Gets Us movement,
Churches Care, and
K-Love radio, to name a few.
Lucas Tuttle, a director with Life Promotions, which produces the well-known
Lifest Christian music festival, tested Gloo for himself to see if the platform could serve concertgoers looking for connection. "I scanned the test QR code and texted, 'Hey, I just accepted Christ,'" he said. "Within an hour, a church reached out to me with a beautiful message, saying, 'Hey, I'm so happy for you. Really, really excited. Can't wait to hear more about what God's doing in your life, and I just want to celebrate with you.' I knew a solution this simple could really help with our ministry."
Gloo continues to expand its ability to match more explorers with local ministries. As part of its expansion, Gloo is signing new outreach partners to its platform every month.
