LANSING, Mich., Aug. 21, 2014 /Christian Newswire/ -- FAITH Catholic announces MassTimes for Travel, an iPhone app that helps Catholics find a Mass near them. FAITH Catholic and the Diocese of Lansing operate the Mass Times Trust, which provides masstimes.org, a website that has had more than 150 million searches worldwide. FAITH Catholic commissioned Servant Systems to develop the app, which provides iPhone users with the ability to find Catholic Masses and other Catholic services based on their current location or the location that they enter. Nearby churches are either displayed on a map or listed by distance from the user's location. Church services can be displayed by time of day to help users find a service convenient for them. The app also displays directions to the church selected and allows users to call the church automatically.

FAITH Catholic was asked to take on sponsorship of Mass Times from its original founder, Bob Hummel, to continue its services to the Catholic community.
