Word of Faith International Christian Center Honors Israel

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Jan. 5 /Christian Newswire/ -- January 7, 2007 will be a day of celebration at Word of Faith International Christian Center as they honor the state of Israel. "It is very important we not forget Israel in these trying times," states Bishop Keith Butler, founder and president of the 21,000-member congregation located in Southfield, Michigan. "The Scriptures tell us that if we bless Israel, we ourselves will be blessed. I want to invite all of our Christian and Jewish brethren to worship with us on January 7 as we honor and pray for Israel."

 

The Day to Honor Israel kicks off at 10:00 am with guest speaker, Mrs. Brigitte Gabriel, a Lebanese Christian, founder and president of American Congress for Truth.  Immediately following the service, Mrs. Gabriel will host a book-signing of her book, Because They Hate.

 

A private reception for Jewish and Christian leaders takes place at 5:30 p.m., followed by the Night to Honor Israel special services.

 

Rev. John Hagee, founder and senior pastor of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas is the keynote speaker for the evening.

 

These services begin at 6:30 p.m. All services take place at Word of Faith International Christian Center Church, 20000 W. Nine Mile, at the corner of Evergreen Road in Southfield, Michigan.
