SAN DIEGO, Aug. 2, 2023 /Christian Newswire/ -- Every year, it seems there's a new survey telling us that Mass attendance is down and that even Catholics in the pews are losing their belief in the holy Eucharist.

With bishops and pastors mobilizing to meet this crisis with a revival of eucharistic catechesis and a national congress in 2024, Catholic Answers Press has joined the effort with an important new book: The Eucharist Is Really Jesus.

Author and apologist Joe Heschmeyer (Pope Peter, The Early Church Was the Catholic Church) first tackles eucharistic disbelief with a clear and concise defense of the ancient Christian teaching of the Real Presence.
