Contact: Hamilton Strategies, 610-584-1096

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., May 19, 2015 /Christian Newswire/ -- Gen. Jerry Boykin has tirelessly stood for freedom during his influential and impressive career. This July, Boykin will bring his experience and knowledge to a four-day event hosted by Church For All Nations (CFAN, www.churchforallnations.com), a growing, dynamic church with four campuses in Colorado and Kansas.

The free, compelling conference titled, "Breaking the Silence," will equip and empower pastors, community members and lawmakers to be bold and stand for truth, rather than letting fear take over. "Breaking the Silence" is planned for CFAN's main campus, 6540 Templeton Gap Road in Colorado Springs, on July 12-15, 2015.

"We are so honored to welcome Gen. Boykin to the 'Breaking the Silence' conference this summer," said Church For All Nations Senior Pastor Mark Cowart. "His courage in the face of opposition and danger is an example to us all, as we witness the moral and religious breakdown in America. He knows what it takes to fight, literally, for freedom, and I know his words will help all attendees learn how they, too, can fight for our freedoms here at home."

The conference centers on the constitutional belief that "We the people" will lead the nation—"One Nation Under God." It will equip attendees, including pastors, community leaders, policymakers and concerned citizens to be bold and take action in their lives and in their communities.

At the conference, Gen. Boykin will share insights regarding current events as well as specific ways individuals can engage in the fight to preserve freedom.

Gen. Boykin is Executive Vice President of the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C., and is also involved with Kingdom Warriors. He is well-versed on Islam, the dangers faced by a Judeo-Christian nation and the military aspect of war. He served as U.S. Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence under President George W. Bush from 2002-2007 and spent 13 years in Delta Force—two years as its commander.

Other key speakers at the conference include:

  • William Federer, nationally known speaker and best-selling author

  • Congressman Ken Buck, representing Colorado's 4th Congressional District

  • Debbie Chaves, executive director of Colorado Family Action

  • Dr. Alex McFarland, religion and culture expert and Christian apologist

  • Kamal Saleem, a speaker, author and former Jihadist
