To many times we watch a politician on television tell us that Social Security is broke.  These politicians do not go on to tell us the reason they say Social Security is broke is because they cannot keep their hands off of it.  What I am saying is that our politicians have borrowed money from the general public's Social Security Plan for years. 

In fact, they have borrowed more than $2,500,000,000 of tax payers money and replaced it with IOU's, which are now starting to come due.  No wonder so many of our politicians are telling us our Social Security Program is broke, they want us to forget their little indiscretions. 

This unauthorized "borrowing" has allowed our politicians to continue to spend, spend and spend some more.  However, they never mention that they have robbed this money from the citizens' Social Security Account.

All our politicians say is that Social Security is broke, they never tell us why!  It is no wonder that the Social Security Account is broke. Our politicians have helped themselves to our money without us giving them permission to use it for other reasons.

When will America wake up to this fact and to other facts, about our politicians? 

We have elected many new members to the United States House of Representatives and that must not go unmentioned, but who will watch them to see if they fulfill their campaign promises?

The job is ours!  The Constitution gives us all the authority to run our government. Our Constitution says we are a government for the people and by the people.  Today the job of checking on that is simply up to us because, we can no longer trust our politicians to tell us the truth.

We cannot assume everything is OK.  As soon as we assume everything is OK...that is when our politicians will rob us blind... and they will not mention it.  They will only tell us that Social Security is broke.
