CHARLOTTE, N.C., May 15, 2018 /Christian Newswire/ -- Christian marketing and public relations agency InChrist Communications (ICC) is partnering with internet engagement expert Journity to help faith-based clients improve the online engagement of website visitors — and their bottomline.

ICC is adding Journity's "digital engagement" service, which transforms web visitors' browsing behavior into a personalized experience for each user, to its suite of communications services. The two groups are co-hosting "Increase Online Donations with Donor Engagement," a free, online webinar, on May 23, from 11:30 a.m.- 12 noon EDT.

Nonprofit leaders will take part in a discussion of digital donor trends and how shifting focus to engaging and converting website visitors can increase online donations.

"Many organizations think that if they have a good-looking website, then they have done all they need to, but that's only the beginning," said ICC President Palmer Holt. "People have very short attention spans online, especially when they are using smartphones, and without given a clear path, they are likely to move on to another website."

"The bottom line is that when you customize your website visitors' experience, they are likely to give you more of their online time—and in turn more likely to give you more of their volunteer and financial support," Holt said.

While technology that improves website engagement is widely used in the commercial world, Journity's service is the first tailored to the unique needs of faith-based and other nonprofit groups.

As well as suggesting and presenting content tailored to each visitor, Journity's programs offer multivariate testing to enable users to fine-tune their messaging, along with an engagement score.  That score individually profiles each visitor that comes to the website based on their level of interaction with it.

As visitors move from less engaged to more engaged, nonprofit marketers are able to quickly and effectively target different users based on their level of engagement with the organization. Key audience segmentation is available as well.

Journity users have seen increases of nearly 50 percent in year-end giving. Bryan VanHaitsma of Revive Our Hearts ministry, said that Journity was "the 'secret ingredient' that allowed us to double our gross revenue in our most recent sale."

"Optimizing and maximizing website visits is an important part of an effective media strategy," said Scott Anderson, vice president of partnerships at Journity.

"The kind of comprehensive marketing and public relations services InChrist Communications offers are essential in creating awareness of a group's mission and purpose, and driving visitors to websites," he said. "Journity can help complete that 'journey,' guiding website visitors to desired information and outcomes, ultimately transforming new visitors into mission advocates."

Registration for the free May 23 webinar is at "Increase Online Donations with Donor Engagement."
